By 2013 a supercomputer will be built that exceeds the computational capabilities of the human brain.  Predictions are that by 2049 a $1000 computer will exceed the computational capabilities of the entire human species.

Northern Protocol Inc. is dedicated to the memory of Peter Schmidt, who originally helped come up with our company name in 1997.  Peter took Aaron under his wing, passing along his wisdom and many years of experience in the business of sales and service.

Mission Statement:

"We go above and beyond in our computer repairs, upgrades and sales to deliver the final solution that gives our clients freedom and increased efficiency."

A protocol
is a code of correct conduct, a standard procedure.  Northern Protocol Inc. is committed to consistently raising the standard of computer sales and repair north of Toronto.

N
orthern Protocol Inc. was founded in Barrie, Ontario in 1997 with the primary goal of changing how people look at computer repair and provide them with an alternative.  With the push for "cheap", it seems many forget what it takes to deliver proper, effective and sustainable solutions.  They know all the words to say, some even go so far as to try and duplicate others in a bid to get the phone to ring, but that's where it ends.

A computer is a tool to free you from certain problems or burdens.  While many have taken this and turned it into a money grab, we work hard to make sure that the computer works for you to extend your performance and productivity.   IT is what we do...best.

A note from Aaron Weston
President of Northern Protocol Inc.

I think what amazes me most in this industry is the trickery and games employed by people and the extraordinary lengths they'll go to in an effort to get you in their door.  The internet has given people the ability to pretend to be whatever they want to be, hiding behind intimidation, name calling and buzz words like "service" and "quality" without any means of measuring them.

The reality is that anyone that has a little bit more knowledge than the public can start a computer repair business, leaving the weary consumer to figure out the truth for themselves at their expense.

Recently we've seen a rash of people spoofing or outright infringing on our trademark phrase "we fix it or it's free".  They've gone to great lengths to defend their actions when confronted.  They've seen our success and to them it's another buzz word that brings hopes of luring consumers in the door.  To us, it's a defining statement of our integrity and commitment to our clients.  As such we've actively pursued those that would wish to diminish it's meaning to suit their own ends.

It's time to end the games.  You work too hard for your money to spend it on people's games and ego trips.  In reality you just want your computer(s) to work.  Should that really be too much to ask?

My commitment to you is that you will get satisfaction and the final solution.  No rhetoric.  No buzz words.  We'll simply get the job done.
